Alicia Goulding has joined Tennis Wales, the national governing body for tennis in Wales, as regional participation officer.

Alicia is a Level 3 tennis coach as well an accredited referee and competition organiser. As a player, she has been a key member of the South Wales senior ladies team for a number of years, and off the court she has completed a BA (Hons) in Journalism, Media, and Sociology at Cardiff University.

She joins Tennis Wales from Tennis Squad Ltd, based at Penarth Windsor Tennis Club, and over the past year she has also been working with the Tennis Wales participation team on the successful Cardiff project ‘Tennis with a Diff’.

Tennis Wales chief executive, Peter Drew, said: “I am sure Alicia will be a great addition to the Tennis Wales team, bringing expertise and enthusiasm, as well as communications skills which will help us to spread the word about tennis and continue to change the perception of the game.”
