Police in Cardiff are investigating the theft of three high specification bicycles from a garage on Pencisely Road.

The theft occurred sometime between 10.00pm on Saturday July 12th and 9.00am the following morning.

One of the bicycles stolen is a matt black coloured Cube LTD mountain bike with a 20 inch frame.

 
The two other bicycles are a white Giant Defy 1 road racing bike featuring blue and black writing and a Giant TCR road bike with triathlon bars fitted to the handlebar.
As well as the three bicycles a quantity of cycling equipment was also stolen including a Garmin cycling wristwatch, cycle locks and wheel covers.
South Wales Police is appealing for information or witnesses with regard to this theft. In addition we would like to hear from anyone who may have been offered an opportunity to purchase one of these bikes.

Fairwater local policing Inspector Paul Arkontopoulos said: “We would like to hear from anyone who may have information with regard to this burglary. If you saw anyone behaving suspiciously in the area or if you have information about this crime then please contact the police.

“Crimes of this nature are unusual in this area and I want to remind residents always to lock their possessions and away and to ensure their property is always kept secure.”

South Wales Police also advise householders that if they require any advice on improving the security of their home they can contact the Crime Prevention Officer at their local police station, their Community Safety Partnership or their Neighbourhood Policing Team.
