Popular 80’s covers band The Spectrums do not enter the obvious regions of that decadent decade. This Cynon Valley combo will pay tribute to a number of outsiders instead of the usual suspects. A blend of new wave/electronica can lead the band into the arenas of Gary Numan, The Cure, Devo, David Bowie, Joy Division, The Human League, New Order and Depeche Mode. However, you may hear some A-Ha, Spandau Ballet and dead or Alive as well as a host of other classic tunes from a golden era of pop.
The Spectrums and dead Possum play The Factory, Porth on Saturday, Decemebr 2, 7pm. Tickets are £5 via a call to 01443 687080 or go to www.thefactoryporth.com
