ANNOUNCE THE RELEASE OF THE DELUXE RE-PACKAGE OF BREAK-THROUGH ALBUM ‘CHALEUR HUMAINE’.

Christine And The Queens release the deluxe version of the smash hit, breakthrough album Chaleur Humaine, with six bonus tracks available digitally and the full physical deluxe, containing bonus tracks and a live DVD filmed at the Zenith Arena in Lille.

Chaleur Humaine has already spent a whopping ten weeks in the top ten of the UK album chart, peaking at #2, #1 on iTunes and #1 on Amazon Music and was recently certified Gold (with 130,000 units now sold) in this country.

Christine is without doubt the breakthrough story of this year – winning Independent Breakthrough Of The Year at the AIM Awards, selling out yet another UK tour this November including two Brixton Academy shows as well as Manchester and Glasgow. She recently featured on the cover of TIME Magazine as a ‘Next Generation Leader’ and the Observer Music Magazine and is nominated for Best Breakthrough and Best Album at this year’s Q Awards.

Unparalleled media support for Christine and Chaleur Humaine continues across Radio 1, Radio 2, Capital FM, BBC 6 Music, Virgin Radio, Kiss FM and Bauer Network with appearances on Jools Holland, Graham Norton, Channel 4 News and BBC’s The One Show.

Christine and the Queens is Nantes-born Héloïse Letissier. Moving to London to study in 2010, Letissier instead found herself drawn to the art and theatre underworld of Soho, where she met the drag queens of Madame JoJo’s who inadvertently helped birth Christine and the Queens. Chaleur Humaine – already more than seven-times platinum in her native France – was released in the UK in February by Because Music (Metronomy, Major Lazer, Django Django).
