Entrance to the event, which takes place between 11am – 5pm is free and all activities are free.

A children’s funfair, arena acts, a music stage, a petting farm, food stalls, sporting activities, face-painting and balloon art and much more will be on offer. Pontypridd Town Council Chief Executive and Town Clerk, Tony Graham said:

‘This year’s Summer Fun Day is going to be our biggest and most ambitious yet. After a difficult two years for Pontypridd we want to bring everyone together for a day to celebrate our community and most of all have fun!

We’re delighted to welcome back the vintage transport rally, a hugely popular Summer fixture in Pontypridd; along with musical acts, sporting activities, a fun fair and lots more. It’ll be a day to relax and for families to enjoy the events and activities on offer – we can’t wait to see everyone!’

Popular musician Ragsy, who appeared on ITV’s The Voice will form part of the music line-up along with other local performers Frasier Banks and Bethan Parker. Côr Meibion Pontypridd and Choirs for Good Pontypridd will also be performing during the day.

Children’s entertainer Martyn Geraint will also take to the stage and there’ll be plenty of opportunity to get active in the sports village and learn some new skills with the Avago Circus in the arena.

Local radio station GTFM will be on site all day broadcasting from the event.
