AGMP Presents … FROM THE JAM
‘All Mod Cons’ 45th Anniversary Tour
+ special guests: THE SKIDS and THE PURPLE HEARTS

Price: £32.50 (+ £4.25 booking fee)

This event is strictly 18 +

From the Jam were formed in 2006 when Russell Hastings and Rick Buckler (ex-The Jam drummer), who were touring as The Gift, joined forces with Bruce Foxton (ex-The Jam bassist and songwriter), to form From The Jam. Russell Hastings has been the only front man to work with both Rick Buckler and Bruce Foxton since Paul Weller.

All Mod Cons was the third studio album by The Jam and was released in 1978. The LP featured singles Down In The Tube Station At Midnight, ‘A’ Bomb In Wardour Street, and David Watts. From The Jam will be performing the whole All Mod Cons album in full along with more hits and fan favourites of The Jam.

To add to this one of the greatest live experiences yours truly has experienced in the halcyon days of punk rock and more recently is The Skids. Scotland’s bravest bastions are still led by the energy, enthusiasm and expertise of Richard Jobson and age has not diminished the Duke of Dunfermline in any shape or form. A back catalogue of pristine power pop in 7″ and 12″ single and album format will never ever lose it triumphant, tantalising, towering touch! The newer material maintains the momentum and as a stage entity you miss this band at your peril.

Mod mavericks The Purple Hearts make for a three-pronged attack of champion champagne cheer and their 70s/80s revivalism of a 60s sharp suited sonic stomp is another aural attraction.
