Midge Ure returns to the concert stage in 2023 with a new tour, Voice and Visions”
that encompasses highlights from the two top 5 Ultravox albums from 1981 and 1982

“ Rage in Eden” and “Quartet”… along with a selection of other solo and band hits. This new tour follows directly on from the sell out “1980 Vienna / Visage” tour of 2019 into 2020 where Midge and his “Band Electronica” took the platinum selling Vienna album around the world….or as far as they could due to the global pandemic… The new show will see Midge play highlights from the Rage In Eden and Quartet albums along with other career spanning hits and deep cuts Midge says – “ Following from the initial success that was the Vienna album, the years of 1981 – 1982, where we as a band created the Rage In Eden and Quartet albums, were a rush of creativity and touring that passed all too quickly – I’m looking forward to digging back into those two albums to resurrect the textures and power of these two albums where Ultravox were, in my mind, at the peak of our creative powers” Band Electronica will morph into their alter egos , India Electric Company, to provide the support for this tour with their combination of folk, world music and electronic trickery! Busy as rush hour but full of light, describing a life alive with motion The Independant Midge is one of the most multi-faceted musicians in the contemporary era and across six decades that has encompassed work as a solo performer plus the diverse entities of Slik, Rich Kids, Ultravox, Thin Lizzy and Visage among other projects. Mr. Ure and his associates are at The Tramshed, Cardiff on Monday May, 8, 7.30pm. Tickets are £34.65 (including booking fee) and are available via www.tickets.ents24.com
