How Boo Boo the panda is making maths fun in Flintshire

Thousands of the youngest school children in Flintshire are finding maths fun – thanks to a panda called Boo Boo and her friends. More than 70 copies of the story- and play-based maths programme Boo Zoo have been snapped up by schools in the county, where children up to age seven are getting to grips with the subject through stories told by talking, playing and exploring. First touchtennis tournament serves up a winner

Cardiff will host the first British Universities touchtennis tournament next spring, following the success of a special pre-Christmas event. The festive-themed Cardiff University touchtennis tournament, hosted by Cardiff Lawn Tennis Club attracted 50 students to try out this new shorter form of the game, which is making the sport more accessible to players of all abilities.
