The Rhondda talents of Frank Vickery and Clare Hingott (a star of Sky TV’s ‘Stella’) appear in the Cinderella pantomime that runs at the Parc & Dare until Thursday, December 24. For details call 08000 147111. Renowned RCT recording artist and producer Stephen J. Preston is once again the musical director for this popular RCT panto production.

Stephen who has also taught at schools in the area is involved in a variety of projects. The man who is affectionately known as Mr. P  is also a voluntary member of the World of Words (WOW) management committee. World of Words is a non profit social enterprise that helps RCT kids with their literacy and language while rewarding them with a variety of gifts (including days out at major events and other inducements). World of Words is always fundraising and any donations can be made via a bank transfer offering any amount to the account 090128 81001834.

To add to which Stephen has also written and produced the single ‘A World Without War’. This tune is performed by The 02five Choir and the Arius School of Performing Arts (while also featuring Daniel Lafrombe Evans, lead singer of Peasant’s King). This new song uses the skills of local artists and Stephen is a major force in the operations of both 02Five and Arius.

This record has been inspired by the refugee crisis in Europe. The collective artists involved united to perform this Christmas single to raise funds for the Welsh Refugee Council.
