World of Words (WOW) @ www.worldofwords.education is an RCT led literacy and well being scheme and this non profit, fundraising project has assisted many primary school children in the area. To add to which the impact of the programme has travelled outside of the classroom and provided families with the chance to sample free experiences.  These opportunities have included: Many chances to watch Wales play soccer along with rugby days out at Pontypridd, The Scarlets, The Dragons and The Blues plus pantomime tickets and admission to play schemes as well as cultural and historical centres.

The kind owners of JT Property Matters on High Street, Treorchy have played a significant role in proceedings. JT have kindly bought World of Words a reconditioned Toshiba lap top which will be of great use in helping with the daily demands of running an innovative initiative that since 2009 has helped over 2400 kids at 19 RCT schools. JT has made a commitment to WOW and there are hopes to develop this bond in the future.

WOW is extremely grateful to JT for a kind act, and the causes to assist the project and help local kids continues. Shoppers at Asda, Tonypandy can deposit their green discs in the World of Words box at the front of the store. That same outlet welcomes WOW kids for a bucket collection on Saturday, May 13, 10am to 4pm. An even easier way to assist World of Words is to make a donation of £2 or more at localgiving.org and anyone who makes an altruistic offering may also be able to claim gift aid to add to the amount. Thanks to anyone who can be so generous.
